Kosofe Door TO Door Engagement… To engage more residents..Lagos DSVA

In a bid to kick SGBV out of every nooks and crannies of Lagos State, two Community Development Associations (CDAs) , Aminu CDA and Ifelodun, were visited within Agboyi Ketu, Kosofe to further propagate the door to door engagement   the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) had embarked on.

The Executive Secretary DSVA Mrs Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi stressed that the Agency was targeting 1 Million residents in the State on the Door to Door engagement to further propagate the SGBV message.

The Door to Door engagement was aimed to ensure the SGBV message is engrained in all to ensure residents in the State support government in the fight to eradicate the menace from the State.

It was also expedient for residents in the State to  report cases of as at when it is occured. 

The DSVA team was  received by the representative of the CDA Chairman of Aminu, Engr. Badejo, Mr. Lateef Sogunro and the representative of the CDA Chairman of Ifelodun, Mr. Olafimihan respectively.

Through their assistance the representatives, the Agency was able to reach the different streets, schools and churches within the communities.

Over 2800 people were engaged one on one as well, flyers, educational materials were distributed and posters were hanged at strategic locations within the communities.
